Founded in September 2021, the foundation began with a simple but powerful goal: to care for the aged with compassion and consistency. Our very first outreach, held ni December 2021 and tagged “Support An Elder,” laid the foundation for what has grown into a movement of love, service, and advocacy.
Since then, Gbenjus Foundation has successfully carried out three additional outreach programs, each one deepening our commitment to serve and highlighting the pressing needs of older persons in underserved communities. We officially registered as an NGO on 18th October 2022, marking a significant step in expanding our reach and impact.
Through every initiative, we continue to shine a light on the importance of caring for the aged, because everyone deserves to age with grace, comfort, and
dignity. We believe that when we honor the elderly, we honor the legacy of our society, and together, we can build a future that remembers, respects, and embraces its elders.
MIssion
Our mission is to assist elders and older persons who are in need by providing them with the basic physical, emotional, and social support required to live a good and comfortable life.
We are committed to addressing the pressing challenges faced by older persons in our society; such as neglect, starvation, and loneliness, through compassionate outreach, essential care, and the creation of a supportive
community where they feel seen, heard, and valued.
